Study in Switzerland

Switzerland is a small country, excellently located at the centre of Europe, making exploration of surrounding countries during the holidays very easy. It has some of the finest technological research facilities in the world as well as being a great ‘service’ economy, particularly in the field of banking.

About two thirds of Switzerland is spread with breathtaking forests, lakes and mountains. The Swiss Alps are a beautiful backdrop and, as many colleges are situated in and around the mountains, many students take the opportunity to learn to ski or snowboard, although there is a wealth of sporting activity available all year round. Switzerland has a vibrant youth culture that is respected throughout Europe and students are entitled to discounts at exhibitions, theatres, art galleries, and museums. Perhaps the greatest achievement of the Swiss though is their famous chocolate!
